Help us strengthen individuals and communities . . .
Because a community is better and more successful when everyone is valued and encouraged to contribute.
Welcome to CCS, and THANKS for your support!
CCS helps people with intellectual and developmental disabilities find sustainable employment, build careers, stay healthy, live independently, learn, and enjoy their communities. Our team is proud to create opportunities that enhance lives right here in Vermont.
Employment & Education: Individualized supports for lifelong success.
CCS offers a powerful set off distinct yet complementary employment and education programs that allow individuals to choose the supports that best fit their current employment and/or education goals.
- Way2Work (adult employment)
- Bridging (high school students)
- School2Work (transition)
- Peer Growth & Lifelong Learning (PGLL)
Home & Shared Living: Safe at home
The chance to fully participate and belong starts with a safe and secure home life. CCS offers two programs that, together, ensure housing security and maximize independence, helping individuals avoid nursing care or even homelessness.
Community Engagement & Personal Development: Connection, Collaboration, Support
Our core value of participation and belonging is based on a model of mutual responsibility and support, and members of the CCS enthusiastically engage the community:
- as students and workers,
- as volunteers and fundraisers,
- as voters and leaders,
- as hikers and bikers and athletes.
