Help us increase opportunities and expectations for people with intellectual disabilities and autism
Build a community where EVERYONE participates and belongs!
Build a community where EVERYONE participates and belongs!
Raising funds helps raise the bar . . .
Your generous support of our Annual Fund provides the "margin for excellence" for CCS to make a real difference - for individuals and the broader community. We've set a goal of $50,000 for 2024.
Champlain Community Services (CCS), a Specialized Services Agency provides a broad array of essential supports to Vermonters with intellectual disabilities and autism, with a focus on employment and career development. Our highly-individualized, coordinated and community-based approach helps the people we serve are find success and independence - at work, at school, at home, and in their communities.
And, just as important, our community is better and more successful when everyone is valued and encouraged to contribute.
A true grassroots success story, CCS was founded in 1967 by the families of people with intellectual disabilities, and retained its its small and intimate feel even has it emerged as a leader in its field. CCS has received consistent State and national recognition for best practices in employment and twice been short-listed for the prestigious international Zero Project Award for innovative practices (once for employment, once for education) for people with disabilities.
A strong Annual Fund fuels such innovation, providing that vital margin beyond our fees for service and government reimbursements. The margin between "receiving services" and support in building a more independent life.
Your support funds that margin, so we encourage you to give what you can, if you can.
Thanks for sharing the vision!
