Celebrate CCS!
The CCS Awards Lunch recognizes and celebrates the work - and people - of Champlain Community Services. Includes presentation of CCS "Community Impact Awards" and features dynamic Keynote Speaker Emily Anderson. A successful entrepreneur and artist, with extensive film and theater credits – Emily also happens to be Coordinator of Bridging at CCS and co-facilitator of Champlain Voices Self-Advocates group. Our Community Impact Awards, each named for a "Founding Mother" of our agency, were dedicated and first presented in 2019. Chosen from nominations solicited from a cross-section of our community, include: the Joyce Lawrence Award for Belonging, the Pauline O'Brien Award for Essential Supports, the Theresa Villemaire Award for Participating, and the Dottie Fullem Award for Advocacy. CCS provides essential supports to Vermonters with intellectual disabilities and autism, building a community where everyone participates and belongs.
